High-quality raw materials (PE-HD, PE-LLD or PP granulates) are used in the process of manufacturing Junifol. Only a few additives are being used in order to secure long-lasting high quality properties of the product even in the most demanding environments and applications - carbon black, thermo-stabilizers, or - in some particular cases - UV stabilizers.
The products included in JUNIFOL® manufacturing line do not contain any plasticizers or softening agents. JUNIFOL®membranes retain their mechanical, hydraulic, physical and resistance characteristics over their long term service-life period.
Both polyethylene and polypropylene are polymers falling into group of thermoplasts, polyolefin subgroup. When heated up, these polymeric materials are being plasticized (a repeatable process) - thereby becoming processable and re-shapeable.

High density polythylene (PE-HD)
- linear macromolecules, a high level of chemical resistance, superb mechanical properties
- linear macromolecules, a higher level of flexibility compared to materials based on PE-HD
- a higher level of flexibility compared to PE-LLD based products
